Profile:The life of Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a fulfillment of the scriptures in Zechariah 4: 10 which declare, “despise not the days of small beginnings”.
Born in 1942 into a humble family in the village of Ifewara, Osun State located in the South-western part of Nigeria Enoch Adeboye often humorously states that his family was so poor that even the poor people called them poor. As a matter of fact, he unashamedly tells his congregation that he never owned shoes until he was eighteen years of age. What he possessed though were physical intangibles such as focus, consistency, diligence, ambition, a brilliant mind and a determination to succeed in life.
In 1956 Enoch Adeboye was admitted into Ilesha Grammar School, Ilesha, Osun State, Western Nigeria and as a youth he discovered a passion for books, and an aptitude for science and in particular the field of Mathematics. This led to an academic journey in the field of Mathematics against incredible odds including but not limited to finances, the Nigerian Civil War and academic politics. By the time he was done, Enoch Adeboye had obtained not only a Bachelors (BSc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nnsukka, Nigeria in 1967, but also a Masters (MSc.) Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria in 1969 and 1975 respectively. One of the motivations for these academic achievements was Enoch Adeboye’s passionate desire to become the youngest Vice Chancellor (University President) of any one of the frontline Universities in Nigeria. It did seem that his academic ambition would be realized as his academic career flourished. However, this was not to be as a greater career awaited him in the service of the Lord. In 1967 Enoch Adeboye got married to his beloved wife Foluke Adenike Adeboye (nee Adeyokunnu)
Profile:Mummy G.O. as she is popularly called has been a strong pillar and efficient planner that complements the efforts of her husband, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
She is endowed with immense initiative, and great capacity for hard work. Her attributes have helped the G.O obey God’s command to be great. Mummy G.O. has not only been mother to her biological children and grandchildren, she has been mother to RCCG spiritual children and more importantly has been shouldering numerous responsibilities on behalf of the Redeemed Christian Church of God mission.
Profile:It all began in 1981/ 82 when God’s servant, P. J. A. Olaiya went to the then old Sokoto state on the assignment of the NYSC. During that period and much earlier than that time he has noticed the scarcity of people in effective evangelism as there was the fear of Islam which has a large spread in northern Nigeria.
After NYSC in 1982 the vision started as teaching sessions at his own home on Thursdays, prayer for the needy on Fridays and night vigils on Saturdays. By 1983 he was being invited in Churches and was placed on TV and the kingdom of darkness began to take note of him as being dangerous.
Profile:Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy O. Ezekiel is a motivator, an astute leader, a highly principled and erudite preacher of the gospel who has her name written in gold through hard work, integrity, honesty and selfless service.
She attended Badagry Grammar School, Lagos, for her secondary education, and University of Lagos where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. She also bagged Bachelor of Arts
in Theology, Master of Arts in Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Theology. Having not done in her academic pursuit, she went further and obtained another Master of Arts, this time in Christian Education, from The Christian College, Texas, and Diploma in Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy from the International Institute of Pastoral Certificates. She also bagged Christian Lady Counselor and Pastoral Cadet and Christian Pastoral Counselor and Inspector.
She is married to Rev. Dr. O. Ezekiel, the General Overseer of Christian Pentecostal Mission International, and blessed with children.

Profile:Isaac Oyebamiji is an ordained minister of the Gospel and the President of Eleos Ministries International. Profile:Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Nigeria – a church with a membership in excess of 8,000. Profile:Pastor Stephen Rathod, born and raised in the nation of India, graduated high school at the age of sixteen in Ahmedabad, Gujarat India. He entered Gujarat University in 1966 and graduated in 1970, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. In June 1974, he received his Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry from the same university. Afterward, he came to the United States to further his education. In May 1977, he received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma
In September 1974, he answered the call of God to serve Him in full-time ministry. He entered RhemaBibleTrainingCenter in the fall of 1977 and received a Diploma for Ministerial Training on May 19, 1978. In August 1980, he was ordained as a pastor by the founder of Redeemed Christian Church of God the late Rev. Josiah Akiundayomi in Lagos, Nigeria. In January 1982, Pastor Rathod was ordained through Faith Christian Fellowship International Church, Inc., under Dr. and Mrs. Doyle“Buddy” Harrison. In June 1990, he received a Master of Theological Studies from the LogosBibleCollege and GraduateSchool. Then, from this same school, he received a Doctor of Ministry in February 1992 and Doctor of Philosophy (Missiology) in August 1996.
Since 1979, Pastor Rathod has done extensive missionary work in Africa (Nigeria and Botswana), Burma, India, Philippines, England and coast to coast in the United States. In India, he and his brother established a ministry called CRY (Christ Reconciling You to God) Ministries in GujaratState. He also locally ministers in the TulsaCounty jail and street ministry.
Pastor Rathod has been an active member of CovenantFamilyChurch since 1980. He became a Senior Pastor in September 1994.

Profile:Pastor Charles Chukwuedum Achonwa is a man who by God’s grace has built a legacy by raising servants and ministers for God and is still positively impacting the world and Gods kingdom on earth.
Born on the 2nd of Feb 1954, in Mamfe Cameroun to the family of late Pa Aaron Achonwa and Christiana Ibari Achonwa, he grew up in a big family with 7 siblings and acted likewise by building a family of 7 children.
He started his primary school education at Government Demonstration school Surulere in 1958, when his father was posted to Cameroun in 1958 as an accountant he continued his primary education in Basel Mission School Cameroun. Once back in Nigeria in 1960, he continued his primary education in Salvation Army Primary School from 1961 t0 1965. His secondary education was in Government College Afikpo from 1966 to 1971 where he obtained his school certificate. The Nigeria civil war disturbed his education a bit because he served in the then Biafra Army from November 1968 to January 1970.
Pastor Charles got born again on January 17th 1971. He joined the HSC class at the Givt. Secondary School Afikpo in 1972 but left when he got admission in the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1973 where he bagged a Bsc. in Microbiology (1977). . His service to the country under the auspices of the National Youth Service Corp program was in Government Technical Secondary School, Farufaru Sokoto State 1977 to 1978.
Immediately after his youth service program, he joined the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) where he worked as a Travelling Secretary for 4 years from 1978 to 1981. He was married to Sister Shade Owodusi on 9th August 1980 who passed on to Glory on the 17th of June 1988. From the FCS, he moved on to join NIFES in 1981 where he rose to the post of Assistant General Secretary and then Acting General Secretary and left in 1987.
He worked in the kwara Dioceses of the Anglican Communion as the Evangelism Coordinator from 1988 to 1993. At the same time he was the Crusade Director for Pastor E.A. Adeboye from 1990 to 1993. He started an interdenominational ministry “The Christian Service Commision” in 1988. Pastor Charles was ordained in 1989 by Pastor E.A Adeboye. He got married to Pastor Ngozi Achonwa (Nee Okoye family of Mr. and Mrs. T.C.E. Okoye) in July 13th 1991. He went on to acquire a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin in 1993 He progressed in ministry when in 1993 he founded Doulos Bible Church in Ilorin, Kwara state. In 1995, he moved to Lagos where he set up another branch of Doulos Bible Church an arm of Doulos Ministries. He therefore was the General Overseer of Doulos Ministries from 1993 to 2010. From 2010 till date he is the Visioner of Impact Vision(The Pallal project).
He was very much into sports in his youthful days, from 1960 to 1963 he was the football goal keeper for Happy Boys Club Surulere. In 1966 he was both the football and Hockey goal keeper for the Form one team in his secondary school, Government secondary school Afikpo, he was also retained as the goal keeper for these two sports in the Colts team in 1967 because of his efficiency. In 1970 to 1972 he was a long distance runner of both 800 meters and 1.5meters for his school. He was actually retained as both the football goalkeeper and Hockey goal keeper for the school until he left the secondary school. He was also in the School’s Cricket team and won colours. From 1970 to 1972 he was the East Central State Hockey goal keeper. He was in the Cricket team from 1970 to 1976 where he won colours, played for East central State, played at the national level and represented Nigeria.
His leadership ability was manifested right from his Secondary school where he was both House captain and class captain. He played many leadership roles, he was the Scripture Union President in his school, Government Secondary School Afikpo. He was also the Drama group leader, ‘Exo-offiio’ and Vice president in the Christian Union University of Nigeria. As a corper he was the Nigerian Christian Corpers Pressident in Sokoto State. He has served in several committees on Evangelism nation wide. He has also done cooperate trainings for various organizatins in and outside Nigeria including Banks, Standards Organization of Nigeria, Nigeria Water Board, Sweet Sensation confectionaries, University of Nigeria Nsukka, to mention a few.
Pastor Charles is not only a widely International sought after teacher of God’s word who has ministered in over forty different Nations of the world, but also a prolific author, songwriter and Musician. He has over forty eight books and manuals to his credit with many geared towards raising and empowering servants and ministers like Christ. Profile:Dr. Mike Okonkwo MFR was born on September 6, 1945 to the family of Pa and Ma Okonkwo of Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. He started his primary education at Salvation Army Primary School Enugu, but later moved to Ijero Baptist Primary School in Ebute Metta, Lagos. He however completed his primary education at St. Marks Primary School, Offa in Kwara State. He started his secondary education at Mayflower College, Ikenne and completed it at Merchants of Light Grammar School, Oba Anambra State in 1963.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo joined the Nigerian Ports Authority in 1964 where he worked only for 3 months before crossing over to the banking industry with African Continental Bank (ACB) with the mind of making a career in banking. He was a pioneer member of staff of the Martins street branch, Lagos from 1964 to 1966. Dr. Mike Okonkwo was deployed to the eastern branch of ACB during the civil war, which eventually interrupted his banking career.
During the war, he underwent the military training but had no opportunity to practice what he had learnt because the war ended the very night he was deployed to the warfront. After the war, he continued with his banking career at the Ogbete road branch of ACB where he was a pioneer staff.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo had an encounter with Jesus in November 1970 and for the 1st time, he started attending Church services regularly in the United Church of Christ, (UCC) which has her headquarters in Enugu. The call of God upon his life was evident and so he was ordained into the ministry in 1971. He took up his first pastoral responsibility in Lagos in November 1972 with UCC. He was released as an Evangelist on the 20th of June 1976 and was instrumental in establishing most branches of the Church in Lagos.
He served faithfully in UCC under the leadership of Apostle Egbo from 1971 to 1980. It became obvious due to circumstances beyond his control that he had to leave UCC, because God has a plan for his life. The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM was founded on the 4th of January, 1981.
In 1980, Dr. Mike Okonkwo received a certificate of license from International Deliverance Churches, Dallas, Texas. In 1981, he graduated with a diploma degree from the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry, San Diego, California, USA. By 1982, he earned diploma with International Bible Institute and Seminary, Orlando, Florida. The same year, he bagged a Bachelor of Bible Theology in the same university. The Covington Theological Seminary, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA gave him a waiver for Masters Degree and he went in for a Doctorate degree program in Divinity which he successfully completed and was conferred with Doctor of Divinity degree with all rights and privileges pertaining thereto. In 1984, the Board of Directors of International Bible Institute, Orlando, Florida, USA, upon recommendation by the Faculty conferred on him a Doctor of Letters Degree. In 1987, the United Christian International Bible Institute, Cleveland, Tennessee, USA awarded him a Doctor of Divinity certificate.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a holder of the ordination certificate and the certificate of fellowship of World Ministry Fellowship Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. He is also a holder of ordination certificate from the National Christian Fellowship Conference, (NCFC) USA, the Church of God Mission International Nigeria, United Christian Church & Ministerial Association, USA.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo was awarded Attestation of Pilgrimage by the Government of Israel, thereby authorising him to bear the title Jerusalem Pilgrim.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a holder of Meritorious Achievement Award from the International Affairs Leadership Parliament, by the Golden State University, University of Honolulu, Ephraim Moore University, International Theological Seminary, Spiritual Life Ministries, all in USA and the Trinity College of Ministerial Arts in Nigeria.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo was awarded the prestigious Scenic Center of the South Certificate by the City of Chattanooga, Tennessee USA, in 1989. The Faith Christian Fellowship International Church Incorporated, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, through his able leadership extended the right hand of fellowship by awarding an Associate Church Certificate to TREM.
In 1997, Bishop Mike and Dr. Peace Okonkwo had the honour of having their names inscribed on the Jerusalem 3000 scroll number 6571 and is thus recorded in the history of Jerusalem with a certificate awarded thereby.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo was consecrated the Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) on the 7th of May 1988.
On the home front, Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a member of the founding fathers of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), the 1st National Secretary General and former President of PFN. He is the convener of the Communion of Covenant Ministers International (CCMI), past National Vice President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
He is a speaker in great demand around the world for Seminars, Conferences, Crusades, Conventions and ministers’ training. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Arlington Church, Arlington, USA. He is the Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM). He is the Chief Host of the popular Television and Radio network, Power in the Word. He is a father of fathers, a Pastor of Pastors, an Apostle of our time.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a man who believes in the integrity of the Word of God. But not only that, he believes in integrity as a man of God and has lived a life of integrity before the multitudes that God has drawn into his ministry. He is a man easily touched by the feeling of the people and thus has become a man of prayer. He spends hours on his knees praying for the flock over which God has made him the Overseer. His long hours of prayer and fasting have brought forth testimonies that have beaten the imagination of the learned.
He is the Patron and Founder of the Empowerment for the Less Privileged Foundation, a non-governmental organisation committed to alleviating the plight of the less-privileged in the society through donations to hospitals, establishment of free vocational training centres, running free preparatory schools for students in the secondary schools, and facilitating regular public enlightenment campaigns on health issues amongst others. He also pioneers a scholarship fund for talented students.
Dr. Mike Okonkwo has authored several books in English and two translated to French. He is a widely travelled man, who has gone far and wide for the spread of the gospel.
He is married to Dr. Peace Okonkwo and they are blessed with a daughter, Uche.
Profile:Bishop Joe Imakando answered the call of God to minister in 1976. Thereafter he attended the Bible College in Kenya and the United Kingdom.
He served as Baptist Church Pastor for 9 years, thereafter he resigned to serve on the wider body of Christ as Executive Director for Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ), an umbrella body that unites Pentecostal and Evangelical churches in Zambia. In 2010, Bishop Imakando was elected President of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), an organization that has 10 Southern African countries affiliated to it.
During that time he was often called upon by government for advice where he served as Commissioner of inquiry.
In 1990, Bishop Imakando had an encounter with God that transformed his life; the change was evidenced in his preaching and ministrations of God’s word.
In August 1992, while in Lagos Nigeria God gave him a vision that led to the birth of Bread of life Church International.
Bishop Imakando is now the Presiding Bishop of Bread of life Church International, Chairperson of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia, he is an apostle, teacher, author, conference speaker, broadcaster, bridge builder and adviser whose ministry has taken him to many nations.
Bishop Imakando’s unique ministry is characterized by a strong apostolic favor which as resulted into the birthing of many mission churches and impartations.
His messages are simple, practical and extremely powerful. Consequently, many people have been lifted spiritually and catapulted into their destiny.
Bishop Imakando has written four touching books entitled “Dreaming your Destiny, “Prayer Our Secret Weapon”, “The Power of Favour” and “Key Ingredients to Success”.
He is married to Pastor Bernadette Imakando with four children.
