Jonathan's Name has been a Good-Luck To Nigeria
The Nigeria President, Good-luck Jonathan has made it clear to Nigerians that his name has brought some good to the Country since he has be come the president of the country.
Despite the challenges of security in some parts of the country.
Mr. President says this on Saturday during an interview with a young girl of 12 yrs old, who was a California base, Miss Zuriel Oduwole, on the sideline of the ongoing 21st ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Africa Union holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
She want to know from the president Jonathan how much good luck his first name had brought to the nation since became the President.
Jonathan said religion and traditional societies attached some values to names.
You see this is why parents give good names for their children.
He added, “Traditional societies attach some values to names. That is why people find good names for their children.
“Even the scriptures sometimes, when God set special assignment for someone, He could even direct, lead or even change the persons name for him to achieve a good result of the assignment.
Come to think of it, at time the name doesn't make much difference because even from my own village, there are some of peers who also bear the same Goodluck, even some bears Lucky but I never see any thing goodluck in their life.
But I have seen some goodluck my name has brought to the country in spite of the security challenges, the country is moving on. I will say yes, it brought some good luck to the country.
