Solomon Islands: Heavy Earthquake Shake Solomon Islands
An 5.4 earthquake has shaked near a remote area of the Solomons Islands but no tsunami warning was issued for the Pacific nation.
The American Geological Survey admitted that the vibration, at a deepness of about 13km, hit in the Santa Cruz Islands at about 06:43:18(Local Time) 06:45 GMT/UTC about 93km south west of Lata.
Early February the remote town of Lata was hit and overwhelmed after a 7.03 earthquake. The tsunami kill at least 13 people and damage many homes and put thousands of persons homeless.
Mr.David Jepsen who is the Geoscience Australia responsibilities seismologist encourage the victims that "they should not worry about anything" after the heaviest earthquake, saying that his agency project on it at degree of 7.0.
At least some body in the area of islands would have notice a little shake.
