The Ikotun and some other markets in Lagos State name after Tunubu's mother has been locked due to the death of Abibatu Mogaji the former governor of Lagos State Bola Tunubu , The market was close this morning, The market caretakers said that they got the information yesterday and put it to practice this morning.
The business owners was very angry this morning as they woke up earlier to their shops and find that the market was still locked since yesterday.
According to a man who was beat up by Area Boys popularly known as (Agbero) He said he doesn't know any thing at all, he was just coming to the market as usual without knowing that there is some behind the close of the market.
I was just coming to the market as I use to and saw some boys which I know as was about to enter the market they ask me not to enter but I was thinking their joking as we use to but all of the sudden they start beating me I was surprise because I didn't expect such thing from them
