A Man Charged With N7,937,503.27 Over Breaking Engagement To A Girl, Court Demand

According to the news report who say that a Georgia man is still thinking on what to do about whether to challenge a state appeals court's who take a decision that he must pay his jilted former fiance N7,937,503.27, his lawyer admitted.

He was accused of  gulf of promise to be joined together for life,part of his defense was that he never alter a word like, "Will you marry me?" to her, "Talk more of I want to marry you", the court filing states.

However On  23rd, Dec 2004, Christopher Ned Kelley, who works in IT, gave Melissa Cooper a ring cost about N1,587,500.65, a court record statement, she accepted and the two moved to a new apartment.
latter in 2000, Kelly, had lived with Cooper, who also had a child with him, the filing admitted.

She say she dropped her job at his request in order to stay home and raise their child and her child from a previous relationship, according to a court file.

However, She said after the proposal, she learned that Kelley had been conjugating with another  woman for complete two years that started before the proposal.
After Cooper come face to face with him, she agreed to stay with him "because of his promise not to see the other woman again and his promises thereafter to marry Cooper," the court record stated.

But in April 2011, when Cooper confronted him about a relationship with yet another woman, he told her that he wanted to be with that woman and that Cooper and the children should move out.

"Cooper was 'devastated' by this development," the court document stated.

However, In response, Cooper documented a lawsuit for a number of claims, including fraud and breach of contract to marry. The Cow-eta County Superior Court awarded her N6,905,627.85 and attorney fees of N1,031,875.43
