Bus crash: French blamed a man due brake failure
A Coach Bus full of young Britons got break failed and was clash in the French Alps, the DA investigating the shocking accident says.
The British coach's driver died and some passengers are seriously wounded on Tuesday when the coach crashed on a sharp corner close to the end of a steep descent from the ski resort of Alpe-d'Huez, After some of the passengers ha
d just finished working the winter time.
"It's very serious issue with the failing brakes.
Mr. Jean-Yves Coquillat admitted and ask a question why did the investigation is likely to take a long process," Grenoble DA Jean-Yves Coquillat told the AFP this morning.
According to the passenger who was encountered the incident says that driver had shouted out that the brakes is not working as the coach hurtled towards the last of a series of 21 dangerous sharp bends coner that regularly feature in the Tour de France cycling race.
After the bus got off the road, the coach bus passes through trees and hit rocks and got crashed. Most of the passengers were able to escape before the coach got fire, One of them who got injured has being treated in a specialist burns unit in Lyon.
"We get very near to a disaster," The top administrative officer Jean Rampon said , in the region. "All the thoughts of the survivors are with the driver who saved their lives."
The Survivors of the crash, with the exception of the three seriously injured, were taken care of overnight at a hotel in Echirolles, close Grenoble, and gave statements to French police on Wednesday.
