The Kogi State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal on Monday rejected the appeal recorded by Mr.James Faleke against the occupant Yahaya Bello.
The tribunal decided that Hon. James Faleke had no locus stand to document any appeal against the decision of Yahaya Bello as Governor of Kogi State. Further including that the Constitution does not perceive "autonomous hopefuls" and that exclusive Political Parties can handle possibility for race.
James Faleke, the running mate of the underlying applicant of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abubakar Audu, had gone to the Tribunal looking for his presentation as the substantial hopeful of the gathering for the race and his affirmation as Governor.
Faleke said with the passing of Audu on the day the aftereffects of the underlying race was being declared, he ought to have ventured into the shoes of Audu.
